Sambodhi has collaborated with experts in climate adaptation and energy access to catalyze action for better public policy outcomes, which is in line with the world’s goal to improve governance and resilience. We combine robust methodology with cutting-edge tools to capture insights even from last-mile data sources.
We partnered with Kheyti to strengthen enterprise readiness for scaling climate-resilient agricultural solutions across Odisha, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. Through advisory and ecosystem support, we helped position the enterprise for investment, enabling deeper reach to smallholder farmers, women farmers, and medium farmers working at the frontline of climate risk.
We partnered with Social Alpha to support climate startups building products for women smallholder farmers in Bihar and Odisha. Through a baseline needs assessment, we strengthened investment readiness for early-stage enterprises and surfaced insights on the gap between women’s access to finance and its productive use.
We partnered with Villgro to assess pilots of early-stage agri-energy enterprises across seven states. Our advisory supported enterprise readiness and the adoption of blended agri-energy solutions — from solar irrigation to bio-fuels — among FPOs, farmers, and women micro-entrepreneurs, recognising that climate-friendly technologies need sustained handholding to scale.
We partnered with Axis Bank Foundation to assess the climate action capacities of civil society organisations working on resilient livelihoods, water governance, sustainable agriculture, financial inclusion, and community health. Through a gap assessment and longitudinal evaluation design, we established the programme’s evidence benchmark and surfaced clear capacity-building priorities around M&E systems, knowledge management, and risk integration.
We collaborated with the Shell Foundation to develop an impact measurement and management strategy for its clean-energy programs in India and Kenya, creating impact pathways and monitoring tools that guide how these initiatives support smallholder farmers, urban transporters, and micro-entrepreneurs in moving toward a living income.
