Global Health, Nutrition, and WASH

Sambodhi collaborates with global partners to provide context-specific insights to improve program effectiveness and efficiencies in policies aimed at promoting universal health services. Our work spans a range of thematic areas, including reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH), public health, health systems strengthening, family planning, immunization, nutrition, non-communicable diseases, and social and behavioral change.

Assessing the Community Mobilization Initiatives to End Tuberculosis (COMMIT) program

We collaborated with USAID Cambodia to conduct a mid-term assessment of Community Mobilization Initiatives to End Tuberculosis (COMMIT) that helped them identify the strengths and weaknesses of the implemented components, key challenges, and actionable recommendations to meet the activity’s intended objectives.

Conducting the monitoring, evaluation, and learning of the Uttar Pradesh Technical Support Unit (UPTSU) in Uttar Pradesh, India

We partnered with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) to conduct monitoring, evaluation, and learning of the Uttar Pradesh Technical Support Unit (UPTSU) in Uttar Pradesh, India, to support ongoing program steering and learning from evidence to strengthen results.

Studying the Agency for All program by USAID to help improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities in project areas

We were study partners to the Agency for All for USAID, University of California and San Diego (UCSD) to generate evidence, measure, monitor, and manage adaptatively, alongside research utilization that helped them improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities in identified areas.

Implementing a health system assessment to improve healthcare quality in Gujarat, India

We collaborated with the World Bank to implement health system assessments for system-level quality improvements in Gujarat, India. We synthesized learnings from data across all components to help improve the quality of health care in the state.
