Building baseline and MRV systems for ecosystem services in Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka
We partnered with GIZ to develop baseline and MRV systems in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu region and Karnataka, working closely with state departments of agriculture and horticulture. Our analysis surfaced the dependence of horticulture and tourism on ecosystem services, and pathways for integrating payments for ecosystem services (PES) into state incentives to promote sustainable economic development.

Rapid damage and needs assessment for the 2025 Punjab floods
We led an independent rapid damage and needs assessment following the 2025 Punjab floods, drawing on OCHA’s MIRA framework with severity-stratified sampling and mixed-methods triangulation. Our six-thematic assessment delivered damage estimates, a vulnerability typology, and a phased recovery roadmap, surfacing how climate-driven floods expose the cumulative fragility of agri-intensive systems.
