Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will perform the following key functions:

  • The person shall be responsible for mobilizing and nurturing resource mobilization and support through strategic partnerships and relationships.
  • This role also requires close coordination with the Sambodhi Team and includes Identifying suitable corporate fundraising opportunities, raising funds required for Vayam programming needs for the future, and developing a robust partnership portfolio.
  • Leveraging and growing existing corporate partnerships.
  • Ensuring a robust, due-diligence process for strategically and methodically selecting corporate partners.
  • Responsible for writing and evaluating proposals for Business Development.
  • Developing co-branded campaigns.
  • Following up on leads generated.
  • Developing and periodically updating cultivation strategies for each corporate donor/ prospect.
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and other necessary documents for donor and prospect engagement.

Education:
Postgraduate in Management

Experience:
At least 8-10 years of experience in Fundraising/Resource Mobilization/ Marketing Business Development.

Personal Competencies:

  • Knowledge of mass communications, brand building, marketing, media, and campaigns.
  • Experience in donor and/or Client Relationship Management with high-level corporate executives, corporate boards, chambers of commerce and industry, etc.
  • Experience in working closely with teams to identify corporate fundraising opportunities, secure funding for future programming needs, and develop a strong partnership portfolio.
  • Skill in leveraging and expanding existing corporate partnerships to maximize support and engagement.
  • Strong skills in preparing presentations, reports, and other necessary documents for engaging with donors and prospects.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing co-branded campaigns to enhance visibility and support.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
