In our work on livelihoods, markets, household consumption, and dynamics for better policy, we use data-driven approaches to inform outcomes aimed at reducing global poverty and improving policy outcomes. Our portfolio of projects includes impact evaluations, process monitoring, bespoke measurement, and strategic advisory for large multi-year programs.

Evaluating the impact of the Rejuvenating Watersheds for Agricultural Resilience through Innovative Development (REWARD) program in Odisha, India 

We worked with the Government of Odisha, India, assisted by the World Bank, to evaluate the impact of the Rejuvenating Watersheds for Agricultural Resilience through Innovative Development (REWARD) program. Insights from the process helped them strengthen the capacities of national and state institutions to adopt improved watershed management in selected watersheds of the state of Odisha.

Assessing MAVIM’s institutional capacity to achieve gender transformative results in Maharashtra, India

In association with the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), we conducted an institutional assessment of MAVIM for the implementation of Gender Transformative Mechanisms (GTM) in the context of climate change adaptation in Maharashtra, India, to assess its institutional capacity to act as a center for achieving gender transformative results.

Implementing a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) system for the Swayamshree project in India

We collaborated with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) to implement a monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) system for the Swayamshree Project. Insights from the process helped them empower women entrepreneurs to earn an annual gross income of one lakh per annum in three Indian states: Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha.

Conducting a multi-state impact evaluation for the National Rural Economic Transformation Project (NREPT) in India

We partnered with the Ministry of Rural Development, India, to conduct a multi-state impact evaluation survey of the National Rural Economic Transformation Project (NRETP) that aims to establish efficient and effective institutional platforms for the poor to increase their household income sustainably.
