Maaike Bijker serves as the Chief of Evidence (Data, Research, and Evaluation) at UNICEF India, leveraging over 12 years of global experience in research and evaluation. Leading the Evidence for Children unit, she strategically prioritizes and technically supports UNICEF-led evaluations, research, and monitoring activities. Her role extends to spearheading external capacity-building efforts in M&E and fostering evidence-based partnerships across all programmatic domains. Previously, at J- PAL South Asia, she led randomized-controlled trials focusing on immunization, adolescent empowerment, education, and environmental sustainability.

Amarjeet Sinha, a renowned policymaker with over four decades of experience in rural development, education, health, and governance reform. Former Advisor to the Prime Minister and Secretary of the Department of Rural Development, he has been instrumental in designing and implementing landmark initiatives such as the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and the National Rural Health Mission.

A. K. Shiva Kumar is a Delhi-based development economist, policy advisor and evaluator. He has served as the Director of the International Centre for Human Development in New Delhi.
Shiva Kumar is a Visiting Professor at the Ashoka University, Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and the Indian School of Business Hyderabad. He did his master’s in economics from Bangalore University, and Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He is also an alumnus of Harvard University where he did a Masters in Public Administration and a Ph.D in Political Economy and Government.
