Wadhwani Foundation founded in 2000 by Dr. Romesh Wadhwani, a leading Silicon Valley entrepreneur, the Foundation’s primary mission is economic acceleration in emerging economies. With large-scale education led initiatives driving skill development and job creation, the Foundation had launched five high impact education, training and research focused Initiatives in India with the aim of creating and fulfilling 25 million jobs by 2020.

The framework unpacked the non-linear, multi-contextual and multi-layered nature of change that defines and
determines the landscape of the initiatives. It aimed to capture the canvas of change, while shedding light on causal relationship among various level of outputs, outcomes and impact under Theory of Change and Logical Framework Analysis crafted in consonance with the WF team. Study entailed secondary/desk research, programme workshops, discussion with WF CEO/senior management team, exposure visits, review of internal MIS and Programme monitoring documents. A sample of 300 students / entrepreneurs were interviewed.
