The event will bring together sector experts, leading practitioners, thought leaders and development professionals from across the globe focusing on the theme "Making Evaluation Matter". Sambodhi is launching its own institute called 'Sambodhi Research and Management Institute' to cater to the needs emerging in the field of research and evaluation studies.

Our Development Consulting and Research services offer:

Descriptive Studies

We help the clients in planning resource allocation and identifying areas for further research. We provide analytical information about the intervention and the project. We reveal patterns and connections that might otherwise go unnoticed. We explain relationships among phenomena, situations and events as they occur.

Evaluation Studies

We undertake evaluations across the project cycle including baseline, mid-term and impact assessment. We analyze the impact of social programmes, institutions and events, in terms of the direct and indirect impacts, and any other incidental impacts. We measure the changes in well-being that can be attributed to a particular project or policy; the results help inform decisions about future direction. Our evaluation designs are robust and effectively capture the changes brought in by an intervention. The designs also aptly identify the factors responsible for the changes.

Formative Studies

We qualitatively as well as quantitatively assess the relative importance of factors affecting the intervention or the project. We formulate and conceptualize methods including focus groups and stakeholder analysis to understand the factors influencing the intervention.

Lead the Action is an initiative of ‘Parivartan’ in partnership with Sambodhi. It is designed to provide a platform to socially concerned and sensitive netizens, to come on board to lead the fight against the inequities they come across in their day–to–day life.
PARIVARTAN is a voluntary not–for–profit civil society organisation that works towards catalyzing and influencing positive change in the life of people living on the margins of society. Parivartan’s areas of intervention includes – Research, Training & Publication.
